2 women arrested, accused of trafficking fentanyl in Alamogordo

ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — Two women were arrested and accused of trafficking fentanyl in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Officers arrested Carlee Edwards and Ashley Gonzalez. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the 400 block of Maryland Avenue around 5:28 p.m. on Sunday. The officer encountered two persons within the vehicle and immediately noticed drug paraphernalia.
